Regular Season 2003 Standings
The Final Four: Legends vs. Bunkers: Legends win 3-2 in OT. Grace Chasers vs. Bucks: GC win 4-3 in 2 OT. Grace Chasers defeat Legends 5-1 in Championship.
The Bucks were on the board first with a goal from Kayne Weiler. The game went back and forth and there was never more than one goal separating the two teams. Chris Gatti scored the Bucks' second goal and Kayne put the third goal in with under 5 minutes to play to tie the game at 3-3. The Grace Chasers scored 2 of their three goals on rushes off the face-off, something that would resurface in overtime. The first overtime ended without any scoring and both teams had opportunities. The second sudden death overtime ended quickly when the two Grace Chaser wings charged the face-off, managed to get the ball, and caught the Bucks standing flat-footed. It was too late. Jacob ran the ball to the open net and the game was over. Grace Chasers went on to win the championship game over Legends 5-1.
